Oh goodness, what have I been up to for 30 years? Well, by becoming a travel agent, I have traveled more than your average bear. (Pun was intended!) I didn't set out to be in the travel industry, but I am well suited for it. I love learning something new everyday!
Realizing that I am not willing to give up control of the remote, I've never married. But, I do have the two most adorable children that ever walked the face of the earth, or at least that's what they tell me. Okay, okay....I've become the crazy cat lady that the little kids dare each other to go trick or treat at my house.

I think I most enjoyed working on the yearbook and the literary magazine. The collage at the top of this website reminds me of the one I drew in Bruin '79. The full page grizzly bear toward the back of the book was thrown in at the last minute because we had to fill a page. About a year after graduating, I got a call from Mr. Ashley inquiring if I had a copyright on that bear. They had been using it on everything from t-shirts to graduation invitations. I think they still use it.
I like to consider it as my gift to NHS!
As the years have gone by, the two teachers that I have most appreciated are Mrs. Werner and Mr. Hon. I've been wanting to look them up and tell them that. When the 30th anniversary of Jonestown was documented on CNN, I thought about the day our creative writing class reinacted drinking the kool-aid and dying. Mrs. Werner acted furious and left the room. I later found out that she had to leave because she was laughing too hard and didn't want us to know.
And, Mr. Hon....well, I still say puppy-breath and Greta Garbo to the tenth power.
