School Story:
My best high school memories are any that had to do with being an "N" Stepper. We had so much fun at camp and the games. Sure it was tough learning all the routines but there was not a closer group of girls who could come together to get it done! We were awesome. I miss that.
I also loved being in Choir. All the performances and being so focused on Mr. Cromer to get it just right.. That was a blast.
I remember our senior trip to Six Flags. Chris Crank and I thought we would end up with a whiplash because of the way our driver kept hitting the gas, then letting off, then hitting the gas, then letting off.. come on already, put it on cruise! Then the bus broke down and we were late getting home the next day.
The bon fires before homecoming, the dances, and just cruising Greenwood and Grand every Friday and Saturday night. I remember cruising with Deana Beecham. God, the hair, the clothes and the music. It was all so great.
I remember my dad had this old blue pickup with one of those musical horns. He would come and pick me and Cindy Lietzke up after drill team practice and the football team would be on the practice field and he would come down the street blowing the "Dukes of Hazzard" . OMG, I thought we would just die..
Looking back, I don't think I really had too many bad memories of High School. I remember being happy most of the time. Sure it was tough being a teenager, but I don't look back and regret too many things.
